The micro-tunnel boring machine that will drill a 17-mile tunnel to gravity feed Lake Ouachita water to a planned water treatment plant arrived in Hot Springs recently. The endeavor is part of the city's $109 million water supply project which began in 2018. The Sentinel-Record's David Showers, the primary reporter covering the project, joins us today.
